Chocolate Party Favors for Theme Bridal Showers

Chocolate Party Favors for Theme Bridal Showers
Chocolate is believed to be an aphrodisiac since the time of the Aztecs. Scientists, reinforcing this belief, say that the presence of PEA and other chemicals, such as tryptophan and phenylethylamine, create an aphrodisiac like effect. The former chemical is released in the brain during sexual arousal, while the latter is released when a person falls in love. Therefore, chocolate party favors are ideal for bridal showers. These treats can be customized to complement a number of themes for the bridal shower that both the guests and the bride-to-be would love.
Bridal Shower Theme Ideas with Chocolate Party Favors
Here is a list of themes you can experiment with for the bridal shower with chocolate party favors that complement the theme well:
Stock the pantry
Inform the guests about the theme a few weeks before the events, so that they can come up with their classic recipes and some non-perishable convenience food, like frozen chicken, cocoa powder, etc. You can conclude the ceremony by giving away chocolate party favors, customized with kitchen-related clipart printed on the treats. You can also ask the bride-to-be for photographs of her while cooking or in the kitchen and imprint them on the favors.
Home Poker
Surprise the guests and the soon-to-be-married couple with a poker theme bridal shower. Ask the guests to do a little homework on a few simple poker games that you plan to include, such as the 5-card draw. Guests can bring in gifts like ash trays, alcoholic beverages and poker ties for the groom and hand fans for the bride, or even green felt as a common gift. You can give away chocolate party favors that are customized as colorful poker chips. You can even use the edible casino chips to play the games.
Wine tasting shower
For a peaceful evening or a leisurely afternoon, the guests and the bride can be delighted with an extravagant theme. Guests can simply bring in different kinds of cheese, chocolates, their favorite winery, etc. You may extend bottle openers, bottle stoppers and other wine themed favors. Get wine glasses, a wine bottle, or the famous quote by Jonny Depp, 'Wino Forever', etched on the chocolate treats.
Lingerie
If you do not want to stick to the classic girly theme parties, then a lingerie-theme bridal shower is can be great fun. Guests can bring in essentials like exotic lingerie, scented candles, chocolate treats, and you can give away red and pink chocolate coins customized with etched hearts, kissing-couples, in-love couples, or pictures of sexy lingerie items.
Other themes, such as a honeymoon shower, holiday extravaganza, garden party, etc, can also be made memorable with the customized chocolate party favors.

Casino Party Rentals

Casino Party Rentals
Hosting a casino party, especially on a holiday such as Halloween or a birthday party, is completely out of the norm. There are in fact party rental stores that lease out all the items a person could ever want for their casino party. Whether it is a formal gathering such as a fundraiser or just a party someone's home, the casino theme will make quite the scene.
Let's imagine, for a moment, that you are planning a fund raiser. How many people would have a blast going to a casino fund raiser, spending their money, and playing with fake money? That's how it will work: the guests will purchase fake money with their real money. They can play around the casino and have some drinks (that you provide, of course, for a price), and at the end of the night, the real money that purchased all the fake money at the casino belongs to the casino (which of course is the fundraiser). It's a win-win situation, because the guests had fun, the fundraiser makes money, and everybody had a ton of laughs.
Or maybe it's family reunion time. Instead of trying to skip this decade's family reunion, maybe it's time to add a little fun. Everyone knows that the old aunts and grandmothers are going to run over to Bingo Land, while the men are running Roulette, Poker, and Blackjack. A family reunion will never go over so well. Instead of digging up all the trash and gossiping in the kitchen about Aunt Mod, people will be running from one game to another. If you can't afford to foot the bill, rent the casino equipment anyways, and charge your family quarters to play to make up for the difference. By the time everyone is finished gambling at the family reunion, your money will most likely come back. Or, you can charge a fee per head, and everyone plays as much as their heart desires.
In either situation, doesn't it sound a lot more fun than the alternative? The fundraiser could have been a black-tie party catered to the "T", but without the casino party rentals, it was dull and boring. Begging for donations wasn't fun either. The casino rental took the begging out of donations, and allowed people to donate to a good cause while having fun. Who would have though of that? At the family reunion, a setting that most people dread or make excuses to get out of, generations of relatives can connect while playing casino games and having fun. Rather than the dull salutations and fake questions about how you've been for the past ten years, people had something to enjoy doing.
The addition of casino party rentals could sky-rocket the amount of people that show up to your function. They can get people excited about the benefit party or family reunion. They could also create wonderful reviews for your fundraiser or function after the party. When considering casino party rentals, consider how much fun your guests will have.

How to Have a Successful Casino Party

How to Have a Successful Casino Party
Want to show your friends a good time, but don't have a fortune to take them to a casino in Vegas? Then bring Las Vegas to your friends with a Casino Party. Casino parties are one of the most popular themes for both private parties and fund-raising events for conferences, conventions, charities and other organizations. As a result, there are dozens of vendors available now that rent genuine casino equipment, as well as the services of dealers and other staff. You can easily find a rental service to help stage your casino party through an Internet search.
When talking with your vendor about your party plans, be sure to have with you the dimensions of your party space. With this essential information, your rental service will be able to recommend the right type and mix of casino tables for your event. Usually one of the practices that make a casino party legal is to play for fun with phony money, similar to that used in a board game or available from a toy store. That way it's clear that you're not playing to win cold, hard cash, just to have a good time. Even a fund-raising event should have a way for players to contribute without real money being used.
The variety of games at a casino party is really up to the host, depending on the size of the venue and the number of guests expected. These days, however, one of the really popular games is Texas Hold 'Em poker. People love to watch these tournaments on TV, so give them an opportunity to test their skill.
You can really add excitement to your casino party if you choose a costume theme for the event. Invite your guests to dress up as cowboys and dance hall girls from the Old West, or gangsters at a Speakeasy from the Roaring Twenties. You might even have someone take instant photos of your costumed guests, so they take home pictures of all the fun.

The Difference Between Casino Rental Companies

The Difference Between Casino Rental Companies
If you live in or around a major metropolitan area, there are probably more than a handful of casino rental companies for you to choose from. The things you have to take into consideration when choosing a casino rental company are the same regardless of whether you are hosting a corporate casino party, or a non-profit casino party fund raiser, or even a home casino party. The component that most people tend to focus on is the pricing. Although this is definitely a key factor, is should be the final deciding factor after you have whittled down the field and you are sure that you are comparing apples to apples as they say. Savvy shoppers will get into details regarding table capacities, condition of equipment, dealer professionalism, run times, and other details to help them select the best company for their event. But the one critical factor that most people never consider is Insurance.
Why is Insurance so Important?
When a casino rental company carries an umbrella insurance policy, they are telling you that they care about you and want to protect you against any unanticipated problems that can and sometimes do occur. Equipment gets moved in and out of offices, banquet halls, and homes. Even with the greatest care, sometimes accidents occur and you will want to make sure that these things will be taken care of in a timely and professional manner. An insurance policy is a significant cost for any business and it should be the first clue to let you know that you are dealing with a reputable business that is in the game for the long haul.
Companies that do not carry insurance are betting that you the customer will focus entirely on price and that they can undercut anyone that has decided to carry insurance. They are also betting that they can roll the dice and operate for a long period of time without any incidents and make a hefty profit. The part that you need to be concerned about is their exit strategy in the case that they do have an incident. Let us assume that you hire a casino rental company (or any contractor for that matter) that does not carry insurance and they end up causing some damage that requires you to seek remedies from them. Their strategy is very simply to close the business and re-open tomorrow under a different name, and you are left holding the bag.
Corporate and Non-Profit customers that have rented out hotel conference rooms or banquet halls know that they are responsible for their guests AND outside entertainers or contractors they have hired for their events. Corporate event planners have lost their jobs by blowing away budgets due to unforeseen costs. Non-profit organizations end up losing their donors when they find out that all the money they though was going to a good cause has been diverted to paying for damages caused by a contractor that didn't carry any insurance. Even with these examples, they are minor in comparison to the risks associated with home casino parties.
Home Casino Parties are Most At Risk
Individuals that contract for a private home casino party are the ones that are looking for the best deal and are focused mostly on the cost. Individuals don't have the deep pockets that businesses and other established organizations have. They are people like you and me that work for a living and want to have that special event for their family and friends. It could be a Birthday Party, Bachelor Party, Graduation Party, or thousands of other great reasons. But if an uninsured casino rental company comes in and causes any damage or injury, you can rest assured that the only recourse the home owner will have is to file it against their homeowner's policy which will mean a significant increase in their premiums...AFTER THEY MEET THEIR DEDUCTIBLES. That is the best case scenario. What could be worse you ask? How about if they are renting the home and don't have renter's insurance that specifically covers these types of issues. That's when you know that your luck has completely run out.
How do You Know if a Company is Insured?
When shopping for a casino rental company, ask them for their insurance carrier and policy number, then contact the insurance company to verify that the policy is active and the amounts of their coverage. If you find out that you may be dealing with a casino rental company that does not carry an umbrella insurance policy, then the casino party event that you are putting together may turn out to be a bigger GAMBLE than you had originally planned for.

Casino Parties to Maximize Contributions

Casino Parties to Maximize Contributions
Non-profit fundraising is as much an art as it is a science. The 'holy grail' of fundraising is locking in your top donors to guarantee that you can take that money to the bank. Established non-profit organizations have a mature and refined list of annual donors that they can use as a baseline for budgeting purposes. Emerging non-profit organizations do not have the luxury of having a history of established annual donors and pretty much have to do the heavy lifting of putting that together from scratch. Regardless of whether or not you have that baseline to work with, just knowing that it is or will become the foundation of your operating budget is essential.
Now the trick is to:
a) get your established donors to shell out more than they have in the past, and;
b) add new donors to your list of annul contributors.
Casino Party Events are designed to accomplish both.
The gaming tables and professional dealers provide an upscale environment for friends and strangers to collaborate against 'the house' in a semi-competitive fashion. Old money is meeting new money and business relationships are being established between each deal of the cards or roll of the dice. Your standard contributions are made at the front end of the casino party which allows your players to 'buy-in' to the games. But as he night progresses and players 'bust out', then the checkbooks open up in the middle of the event for the additional 'un-booked' contributions that set casino parties apart from other themes.
There is a natural draw that comes with the whole Las Vegas experience that other themes do not possess. Typically, if you want to attract new money, the biggest drawing card is dropping the names of other attendees. You still have that to work with. But, with a casino party theme you also have the draw and excitement of the games to keep new donors occupied. The biggest fear that a potential new donor has is that they will not be accepted into the established social circles. Chit-Chat over dinner and drinks becomes uncomfortable in that scenario. Having the games available to occupy your guests allows people to enjoy themselves even if the social aspect of the event turns sour for them. It also gives you an opportunity to isolate these individuals and make them feel special and welcome.
The Structure of Casino Party Fundraising is the Key to Success
It's all good to have an upscale venue selected, great food and drinks served, appropriate d?cor, music, and of course the professional gaming tables and  that's not all. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the fundraising during the event, a structure needs to be put in place designed to do exactly that. Quality casino rental companies have the resources to help you along these lines. Some simple ideas are to have mini-tournaments thought the evening to both generate excitement but mostly competition. It is the competitiveness inherent in the games that will bring out the checkbooks. It is also important to be able to announce those spur-of-the-moment donations interactively. This helps to convert the competitiveness of the games into a competition of GIVING. These are just a few of the many suggestions that will come with a casino party fundraising event coordinator...a complimentary service from quality casino rental companies. Be sure to take advantage of their years of experience in servicing non-profit organizations to help you maximize the casino party experience for your guests, and the fundraising experience for your budget.

7 Tips to Help Plan Your Party

7 Tips to Help Plan Your Party
It can be extremely frustrating to come up with the perfect event or party plan for New York City. Sometimes the brain can only take so much before you want to give up entirely. When this happens and you can no longer brainstorm any new party ideas, try some of the following to rekindle that event-planning spark:
1. Stop and Do Something Else - Sometimes this is the only way to get back in your groove. Find something else that you love to do and take a big break on the planning. Meet with your friends, get out of the apartment-New York City has offers so many great things to do at all times. Do some household choirs, or take a long drive. Anything that will keep your mind off of the topic at hand in order to readily prep your return to the plan.
2. Be Social - We often let ourselves fall into the daily grind, and this is bad practice for creative thinking. You get used to the same flow of activity-wake up, go to work, go to bed and do it again. This can only hinder creativity. Luckily, you live in New York City! We have friends, family and co-workers to add excitement and change to our lives. Make use of the great connections that you have. Whether its to go out for a while to take a break, or to voice ideas and get feedback. They may even have the perfect idea that you wouldn't ever have dreamed of. Even though you are the party planner, it doesn't mean that those close to you can't help to enhance your plan.
3. Brainstorming - The ultimate tool for creative idea generation. If you are working alone, get a piece of paper and just start writing down every single little thought that comes into your head with regards to your event ideas. Do not hesitate to include unrelated thoughts as they can often to new ideas. Make sure that you do this in a comfortable setting-lounge in your favorite chair, sip on a nice cup of coffee, or play some soothing music. But remember, there is no such thing as a bad idea. No matter how dumb, stupid or silly you think something may sound, you never know what you will come up with.
4. Get Active - One of the best ways to get your brain working is to get your body and blood moving. Take a nice jog along the East River, or walk around the block. Go shopping in SoHo, or head to the gym for a quick workout. Perhaps call up some friends for a game of racquetball. Any and all activity is not only healthy for you, but will enhance your creative juices tenfold.
5. Don't Neglect Your Rest - Sleeping is one of the most healing processes we have. Take a quick nap, or get to bed early and push off your party planning til later. During sleep your mind and subconscious will be at work in a whole new way, and you may be very pleased to find out that you've got some great ideas awaiting you in the morning. At worst, you'll be well-rested and ready to tackle you planning on a full battery.
6. Inspiration - As with any creative work, a lot of times we just need some inspiration. Flip through some magazines, go for a walk in a public place, watch some television. Anything that can help spark new thoughts and ideas could certainly present you with a new and needed source of inspiration. The best part is that you'll never know what to expect, but you may just stumble upon the perfect idea for your party.
7. Take it to the Web - Ah, the internet. One of our greatest sources of knowledge and information. Hop on those search engines and see what others have done and what problems they are facing. Search for 'party themes,' 'party ideas' even 'party games.' You really can't go wrong. Perhaps you'll find some related forums where members are readily discussing their party planning adventures. Make use of the vast wealth of resources that internet has given us.

WSOP "November Nine" - Put Me Down For a 'Nein,' and Here's Why

WSOP "November Nine" - Put Me Down For a 'Nein,' and Here's Why
The World Series Of Poker: The Ultimate Poker Tournament is an event held annually at the Rio Suite Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. To most of us, this is poker "nirvana," especially for those of us in the orange county casino party business. It's a fantastic game, one that we feature prominently in our presentation book portfolios. Bottom line: We LOVE poker, in all forms.
Well, maybe not ALL forms.
Make no mistake about it, we DO love the game, and can't wait to join our card-playing brethren out in the desert, and take our annual shot at the Rio when the WSOP kicks into gear. BUT.... there's something about the WSOP that has been bugging us for about two years now, and it's time to hop on the soap box and pontificate.
It has to do with the WSOP "Main Event," the $10K buy-in tournament that is considered by most as the "World Championship" of the sport. (Yes, I know, the question of 'is poker a sport' needs to be addressed. I'll get to that, sometime later, I promise.) Back in the 1970's, when the World Series Of Poker was in it's infancy, the tournament only took two days to complete, probably because the total number of entries in the tourney 35 years ago usually topped out at around 50.
My, how times have changed.
In 2006, there were a grand total of 8,773 players competing for what turned out to be a $12 million dollar first prize. This year, during what some in Washington might call a 'recession,' there were still 7,319 entrants into the WSOP Main Event at ten thousand bucks a pop. Take it from this casino night blogger: Without a doubt, poker's "World Series" is here to stay, and the Main Event, circus-like as it may be at times, IS for poker's "world title."
And, quite frankly, THIS is where I have a problem. I DO love the Main Event of the WSOP. I just don't like it's current FORMAT.
Let's take a quick peek at the other "world championship events" for some historical background, shall we?
NBA -- The NBA Playoffs began on April 17, 2010, and ended two months later, on June 17, 2010. Start to finish, two months. Two LOOONG months. Ask anyone that tracks the NBA post-season, and they'll tell you that it drags on forever.
NHL -- The NHL playoffs went April 11 / June 10. Two months, and it seems that THESE playoffs drag on longer than the NBA.
NFL -- Basically six weeks of playoffs here, including the Super Bowl. Not too shabby, time-wise. The NFL is also the king of sports marketing, so if THEY say five weeks will get it done, that works for me.
MLB -- Even less than the NFL. Surprisingly, the MLB post-season lasts just about one month (October 7 / November 4, last year). (The season lasts SIX months, though. Maybe THAT'S why we're tired of baseball in November each year.
Hmmmm.... OK.... If my info is correct (and it always IS), the 4 major sports need from 1-to-2 months to determine their champion, and when it comes to marketing the post-season, there's no better commercial for the action taking place than the games themselves, games that are on almost every day.
Now, let's move to the World Series Of Poker. Now, we first take into account that the WSOP consists of not one, but more than 50 separate individual "bracelet" tournaments that started in earnest on May 28th, 2010, and "ended" yesterday, July the 18th, in the Rio's Amazon Room.
Or DID it?
So, the WSOP takes about what, seven weeks from start to finish? But alas, my orange county casino party friends, the WSOP season ISN'T over. There's just one small problem, and that's what the WSOP calls "The November Nine," the last nine players left at the WSOP Main Event Final Table.
And WHY do they call this group "The November Nine?" Easy. Because the WSOP, in their infinite wisdom, is STOPPING the 2010 Main Event on Sunday, July 18th, and making the last nine competitors wait for an astounding 105 days until the tourney is resumed on November 1, 2010.
ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE DAYS.
Heck, anyone that plays games around MY house knows that if we started a game on day 1, and waited 105 days until we FINISHED it, most of the players wouldn't even remember how to PLAY the game, let alone play it well. Granted, these last nine players have quite a monetary incentive to remember how to play poker (First place in the WSOP Main Event will get you over $8M), but that's beside the point.
WHY in HADES does the WSOP make these players wait for over a HUNDRED DAYS, before getting to the biz of declaring a champion? Do they know something about marketing a major playoff series that the four MAJOR sports DON'T? I doubt it. This event used to be held at Binion's casino downtown up through 2003, which, for the record, didn't even HAVE a poker room, when the WSOP began back in 1970.
ESPN does a fine job of televising the WSOP events, albeit it a telecast schedule that has gotten smaller and smaller since 2008. Bottom line, the WSOP doesn't do one bloody thing to promote the final table of the WSOP main event. They just delay it unmercifully. In my humble opinion, this does NOTHING for the 'sport.' All this does is take any momentum away from the players that were totally dialed in during the last hours of the tourney, and make them all sit around and get stale.
I HATE this. Hey, sue me, but I don't want to sit around and wait to see all the already-recorded coverage hours of the 2010 WSOP Main Event. I want to see them NOW.
If the world would ever decide to anoint me as "Poker Czar," there's a couple of things that I would immediately change about the WSOP --
1. Cover more of the other 50+ events that are held earlier in the WSOP. I loved watching coverage of the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event (5 types of poker played and rotated every two hours), as well as all of the individual $10K events that are held. Bring all of those back, cover them on a tape-delayed basis, but SHOW them to us after about 7-10 days pass.
2. Cover the 2010 Main Event as usual, but don't hold on to all of the footage that you've already SHOT, ESPN! SHOW IT TO US! It doesn't take months to post-produce the footage. Get to it.
3. OK, I realize that the last day of competition in the 2010 main event took 17 hours to complete, to get down to 9 players from 27. No prob. Give the November Nine a WEEK off to recuperate, not 15 WEEKS! Heck, ANYTHING can happen in 15 weeks. Lord help us if a player is injured in some accident, or worse, and the player(s) can't come back to finish the competition. Give 'em one week, then bring back the "July Nine" to find out who wins it all.
I mean, come ON -- All of the poker aficionados that follow the sport with any diligence whatsoever and have access to a computer or a telephone KNEW who the November Nine were in '09. There's no reason to delay this, WSOP. Do us all a favor, and make this the last year of this stupid elongated poker vacation. It's unnecessary, and it's just wrong.
OK, I've said my piece. Thoughts?

Four-Card Poker and My Date With the Chumash Indians

Four-Card Poker and My Date With the Chumash Indians
Without question, one of the real "perks" of being a part of Las Vegas night casino entertainment team is being able to test out new casino-style games in advance of their subsequent debut onto the casino gaming scene at a later date. Our company has always been a pioneer in the Las Vegas night casino party rental industry when it comes to having these new casino games available for their clients to enjoy, before anyone else in the Southern California entertainment market. With that in mind, it should go without saying that, when a new game DOES make it's way onto the casino gaming scene, it's up to US to put it through it's paces.
You ALL know where this is going: It's "Story Time" once again. Hey, that's why we're consider the "propaganda ministry" around here. (Grin) OK, so, here's one for the books.....
It's late 2008, time for another family adventure. (I'd call it a "vacation," but, when it comes to MY family, "adventure" is a much better term. You'll see.) It's decided by my dearest wife that it's time to forget the casino party industry for one weekend, scoop up the kids, hop in the car, and head to a city in central California called Solvang, a word that i'm guessing is Danish for "bakery swap meet." OK, I think to myself, the good wife needs a getaway to have some fun, do some shopping, and find out what an Aebleskiver is. (Don't ask. The only thing I can cook is microwaveable foods.)
So, off we go: up Highway 101, past Cachuma Lake, and, lo and behold, there it is. Hold on to your Aebleskivers, I can't believe it: It's a little Dutch town right here in California. Quaint, nice, friendly people, great food (I highly recommend the Solvang Restaurant), lots of places to see and visit.
I mean, LOTS of places: Including one more that I didn't know existed..... It seems that, just up the road from "Aebleskiver Alley," there's this brand new, bright and shiny building that stands out like a sore thumb. And, when I saw the name on this non-Solvang-looking monstrosity, it immediately caught my eye. You couldn't miss it.
"Chumash Indian Casino and Spa."
We drove right by this huge casino on our way into Solvang, and when my wife saw me looking at this marvel of casino engineering, she KNEW that the Chumash Indian tribe was going to be an unplanned part of her vacation. (Told you it would end up being an adventure. It just wouldn't be right if we didn't have a lil' adventure.)
Now, when I was in school, if you were to poll every history teacher that ever tried to interest me in the fine art of historical studies, they'd all tell you that everything I know about history would fit into a small paper cup. Over the years, i've improved my historical knowledge ever so slightly, especially in the area of American history, but I have to admit that American Indian history has slipped many a shot by this goalie.
"Do me a favor," my wife immediately blurts out, as we're passing this Chumash Casino. "Don't go investigating that place until we're on our way out of town, after our vacation." It's a deal, I say. So, after all of us have had our fill of every Danish pastry this side of Solvang, it's time. Vacation over, time to check out the "Chumash Indian Casino and Spa."
Now, I may not know a whole lot about the Chumash tribe, but I DO know the law when it comes to both the casino party industry AND California casinos in general. NO KIDS. Wifey's not interested in seeing this place, anyway. The only gambling she's ever done was marrying me, and since she's lost her only "wager," she's not looking to recoup her losses. She'll stay with the kids in the comfort of the covered patio outside the entrance to this place, and tells me, "go do your thing."
So, inside I go. Yep, pretty nice place. It is new, clean, and has the game roster you'd expect would be present in a California Indian-based casino: No Roulette, no Craps (not even card craps), PLENTY of slots, and when it comes to the table games, it's pretty much the usual suspects (BJ, Caribbean, 3CP), excepting for one.
Four Card Poker.
Now, I remember receiving the memo from the Shuffle-master corporation in regards to their newest creation, but I hadn't seen this game implemented onto a casino floor. OK, let's see how this works, I say to myself. Pull up a chair, let's take this game for a spin. Well, after about 30 minutes, here's what we found out about "Four Card Poker," courtesy of yours truly --
--Two initial bets are available: The Ante and the Aces Up.
--All players get five cards each and the dealer gets six cards. (This part i'm not too thrilled about, but since there's no vigorish involved in regards to winning bets, the house has to have SOME advantage.) One of the dealer cards is placed face up, and five face down.
--Players making the Ante bet must decide to fold or raise.
--If the player folds he forfeits all bets.
--If player raises, then he must raise at least the amount of the Ante and at most, three times the Ante.
--Players then keep their best four cards and discard one.
--Following is the ranking of hands from lowest to highest: high card, pair, two pair, straight, flush, three of a kind, straight flush, four of a kind.
--After all decisions have been made the dealer will turn over his cards and select the best four out of six.
--The player's hand shall be compared to the dealer's hand, the higher hand winning.
--If the dealer's hand is higher the player shall lose the Ante and Raise.
--If the player's hand is higher or equal then the Ante and Raise shall pay one to one.
--If the player has at least a three of a kind he shall also be paid a Bonus, regardless of the value of the dealer's hand. (I love that part of the game.)
Careful mathematical evaluation of this game called "Four Card Poker" seems to suggest the house edge comes out to about 3.89% using a normal payout table (there are more than one, depending on where you might play), and can dip to about 3.15%, using what might be called "basic strategy," something discussed in Blackjack play ad nauseum. We'll break down this, and other games, in subsequent blogs, trust me.
Our review of this new game? Well, at 3.9%, it's not a game that'll eat you alive. Heck, Roulette's house edge is around 5.2%, so, as far as new casino games on the market, Four Card Poker seems to be pretty fair. We'll give Four Card Poker a B+ rating to start.
We'd give it an "A+," except for two little problems. One, I lost $60 at the Chumash Casino testing out the game. GREAT rush of cards for the dealer. Oh, and, Two? I played for about 30 minutes, which, when you're stuck with MY kids, must seem like 30 days. Wifey's grade of Four Card Poker? Let's just say that I kinda knew what it would be, when I exited the casino a half-hour after entering and an Aebleskiver went whizzing my by head.
Moral of the story? If you visit the Chumash Indian Casino and Spa, take a shot at Four Card Poker. If you're a lover of new casino card games, I think you'll like it. Oh, and disarm all family members of Danish pastry before entering the Casino. I KNOW you'll like THAT.

Dry-Grad - The Perfect Opportunity For a Casino Themed Party

Dry-Grad - The Perfect Opportunity For a Casino Themed Party
Graduation from high-school is a big occasion and some sort of large send-off bash is usually in order.  These graduation celebrations are typically large affairs with lots of fun and entertainment.  In the past 20 years the trend is to make these bashes alcohol free or a dry-grad.  This means if you're caught with alcohol on or in your system you'll be asked to leave.  This provides a safe environment for all to enjoy.  However, many people will find that the party needs to be much more entertaining then other non alcohol free parties.  So, what better time for a casino themed party?
A casino themed party is the perfect party theme for a dry-grad celebration as the party provides entertainment, a theme and allows prizes to be given out to the party-goes.  In addition, this type of party is perfect for dry-grad because you will need lots of volunteers to run the party smoothly.  The more volunteers that are around the more people who can help monitor the guests coming in with alcohol or alcohol in their system.   This is an important part of any dry-grad celebration.
To host a casino themed party simply give everyone coming to the party a set amount of fake money to spend. They will have the evening to gamble the money at the various stations setup throughout your venue.  You can then have a raffle prize draw area setup where people can spend their money to buy tickets for the raffle.  You'll want to pick a prize worthy of making people wanting to play with fake money throughout the night.
If you're on the party planning committee for your graduating class consider hosting a casino themed party.  You won't be disappointed in the atmosphere, entertainment and activities that your guests will get to enjoy.

Taking an In-Depth Look at "3 Way-Action"

Taking an In-Depth Look at "3 Way-Action"
"Hey, Ace, I heard about this brand new game," was how my friend began his query, "a game that I hadn't heard of before. Maybe you've heard of it...."
"Have you ever heard of some game called 3 Way-Action?"
"Uhhh, yep, I sure have," was my response, although I wondered why my friend would label this as what he called a "brand new game." Being in the casino party rental business, it's my job to keep up on all the new trends, even when they're NOT so 'new.' Agh, no problem, I said to myself, I'll correct him later. "So, where did you see 3 Way-Action being spread?"
"Well, my friend saw it while he was up north (California), played it for a while, and thought it was a lot of fun, so he introduced the game to our Friday Poker Party, and it was a big hit! We played all night!" (Actually, that wasn't an unusual suggestion by my friend, who goes by the name of 'Night Owl.' He and his card-playing buddies would stay up until 6 a.m. playing 'Madden NFL Football,' if the side bets were right.
"One problem," the friend lamented. (Uh-oh....I'm smelling a rules-violation right about now.) "We're not sure we're playing it the right way. Could you come over to my place next Friday, and teach us the rules of the game?"
Wow, hmmm, let me , it's a tough choice between listening to my two sons fight over the 'Wii' system for three hours on Friday night, or go over to my friend's house and spend the evening talking about my favorite thing in life -- Casino games, and the best ways to play them. "Great, we'll see you at 7 p.m.! Don't bring anything, we'll supply the food."
Friday couldn't come soon enough. My sons decided to boost up the night of the weekly 'Wii' argument from Friday to Thursday, so I wouldn't miss all of the fun with them. (Gee, thanks, boys.) And, when Friday DID come around, I made the trek over to Friday Poker Party Central, in order to discuss the now-infamous "3 Way-Action."
"Here, let's show you how we're playing 3 Way-Action," my buddy says. And, as promised, he deals out a hand of the game in question, and it looks like they've got the right idea of how the game is dealt, but they're a little off in the way the initial wagers are made. "OK, stop right here," I say. "Let's go over how the game works, right from the beginning."
"First off, you're asking how this 'brand new game' works, but it's not new, at all. It's been hanging around on the fringes of the casino industry ever since the WSOP's own Joe Awada created the game for his company, Gaming Entertainment, quite some time ago." (We consider it our job to keep up on ALL of the new games and trends in the industry, as well as their history. Hey, we're not the top casino party company for nothing. Grin) After my short, boring history lesson about the game, it was time to get down to the business of how "3 Way-Action" worked. Here is how the game was taught to this very attentive group....
3-Way Action is a game played on a Blackjack-style layout, with three distinct betting boxes in front of each of the six players at the table. These bet-boxes are marked "High Card, Blackjack, and Poker." To play the game, a player must place a bet in each of the three boxes, and unlike games like Let It Ride, the bets in the three boxes do not necessarily have to be in the same exact amounts. Players can make any size wager in each of the three boxes, but may not remove any wagers made after the first card is dealt.
The first game played at the table is "High Card," also known by some players as "War" or "Combat." It's just as described - High card. The dealer will deal one card up to each of the players, and one card up to himself. If your card is bigger than the dealers, you win, simple as that. If not, you lose. If the player and dealer TIE, the player loses exactly half of the original "high card" bet, which is the "vig" for the house. The house edge for this part of the game, because of the half-bet loss on a tie is almost 3% (2.94%, to be exact).
Next up, we move to game #2 in 3 Way-Action, "Blackjack." That "High Card" that you initially received to start the game? You keep it, and will be dealt another card, face up, so each player has a two-card Blackjack hand. (The dealer will deal HIS/HER second card DOWN, of course.)
Now, each player plays Blackjack against the dealer. Now, if you hit your 2-card Blackjack hand, all subsequent cards that you get will remain in your hand for the third part of the game, the poker hand. So, the players play Blackjack against the dealer, and those bets are paid or collected, with ties being a push.  cards that the players / dealer receive during Blackjack play remain on the table, as part of those players' hands.
Note: If the player draws to seven cards totaling twenty-one (21) or less, the player wins automatically. (Even money.) House edge in Blackjack, taking all normal factors into account -- About another 0.5%, give or take a smidge. You Basic Strategy players know the deal with this scenario.
So, now, with the Blackjack portion of the game completed, the table moves to the last of the games to be played - "Poker." It's now like Seven-Card-Stud Poker. Each of the players will be dealt cards face up, in turn, until each of them has seven cards in front of them, their poker hand. Simply stated, if your best five cards in your poker hand beats the dealers' best five, your "Poker" wager is paid off, even money.
House edge for the third and final installment of 3 Way-Action -- We're figuring about 3.4%, maybe a little less, depending on what the payouts are in regards to an optional side bet on the poker hand-portion of the game called the "Bonus Bet." This is a side wager made before any of the cards are dealt, and pays off players that end up with hands of 3-of-a-kind or more (which pays 3-to-1).
House edge on the bonus bet -- Well, it depends on the payouts of he various poker hands, but the odds in regards to a "Bonus Bet" payout sheet that WE saw at a Northern California casino some time ago would land around a 12.5% vig for the house. (You know how those bonus bets are. Stay away from this one.)
"Wow, thanks," my friend said, after the class was dismissed. "You really do have all the info on that game. Sounds like, all in all, the odds in favor of the house really aren't that bad when it comes to 3 Way-Action, are they?"
I remember my answer.... "Actually, no, as casino games go, the odds in favor of the house aren't that bad at all. Just remember your basic strategy when it comes to Blackjack, and to stay away from the optional Bonus Bet, and you should enjoy your next session of 3 Way-Action."
"Thanks again," my friend told me, as I was leaving his house, and heading back home. "We really appreciate it." Have a good evening!"
"You're welcome," I shot back, as I walked back to my car, and back to what I was SURE was another "Wii War" waiting for me when I got home.
Hey, when you're considered the top source for info on the best casino games, you have to know when you have the house edge, don't you? Just one word will swing the percentages back into my favor, and give me back that coveted "House Edge."
"Bedtime!"

Necessities for a Casino Party

Necessities for a Casino Party
First of all, you are going to want to make sure you have all the right gaming supplies. It can't be a Casino party unless you have casino games. The market is absolutely flooded with gaming products. Having enough activities to keep your guests occupied is the key. If you have too few games going on the party can become stale and boring. It all depends on how many guests you expect to attend that determines the right amount of games. Some classic casino games that should be included at your party are blackjack, roulette, craps and poker. Having the right set ups for each game doesn't have to be expensive either. Felt layouts and table tops are cheap and a great option for a party like this. All you will need is a surface to set these up on. Along with the gaming layouts, you may want to consider buying a poker chip set up. You will need enough poker chips for each game. The variety of poker chips available are plentiful. They range greatly in price also, so depending on your budget, you should be able to find something to suite your needs. Further more, there are kits available for certain games that contain everything needed to play, so you might want to consider looking into those. Having plenty of playing cards is another key element. Traditional playing cards tend to wear out quickly, so having enough to keep your cards fresh and in good condition will be important. You may also want to consider plastic playing cards. They are a little more expensive, but their durability will allow you to have less decks and will eliminate the need to replace a deck as often.
Once you get all your gaming supplies it is time to invite your guests. I would recommend having some sort of formal invitation sent to your guests rather than a phone call or word of mouth. This will give you a better idea for the number of guests while building the anticipation and excitement. Included with the invitation I would give a dress code. In order to make it feel more genuine and eloquent I would recommend a formal dress code. Men in suits and lady in evening dresses. It is completely up to you if you want to allow children. Personally I would make it adult only, it all depends on your friends and if that is possible. Having it adult only will also make it feel more like you are partying at a real casino, which is the idea right? When it comes to food, I would avoid a sit down dinner and lean more towards finger foods. This will keep the party moving and the action non-stop.
A Casino themed party is a great way to shake up your parties. It will give your guests something to look forward to and will keep them talking for months. If you follow these few tips your party will be a success and your guests will look forward to your next party.

Casino Night at Work!

Casino Night at Work!
Want a cure for the common office party? How about a casino night? With a little bit of planning, your boring office can transform into a Las Vegas casino filled with glitz and glamour, if only for the evening. Now, running a casino night does require more work than the standard party, but your friends and your coworkers will have an amazing time; it's well worth it.
It should be worth mentioning that it's not a good idea to actually have gambling. Aside from being illegal, losing a lot of money would probably cause some attendees to have a not so good time. If you're itching for some high-stakes action, don't worry. There are a few ways to make it exciting without anyone losing too much money. Before the party, pick up a bunch of prizes that people would enjoy winning. Depending on your party's budget, good prize ideas include gift certificates to local restaurants, electronic gadgets or something fun like a coupon for a casual-dress day. We'll get back to the prizes in a bit.
If you have the budget, you would do well to hire a local company that can provide equipment and staff for your party. Proper gaming tables and professional dealers go a long way adding to the fun and experience. Also, don't forget to have plenty of drinks on hand for your thirsty gamblers. It shouldn't be hard to find someone to play the role of a cocktail waitress for the night, just remember to tip well. It's also a good idea to have a karaoke machine set up, so would-be lounge singers can take a break from gambling long enough to set the mood. (Luck be a Lady, Anyone?)
Now onto the gambling! When your coworkers arrive, everyone should get the same amount of chips. These chips will be the currency used for all of the games. A little research is necessary to figure out the exact amount and denomination of chips to hand out. This is based on the selection of games and the length of the party. Also, you should have more chips ready for gamblers who lose everything. (Have them donate $10 to a local charity to be able to get back in the game.
After everyone has had their fill of gambling, now it's time for the prizes. Have everyone take the chips they won, and auction off each item starting with the least valuable and culminating in the most valuable, or "grand prize." With everyone in a gambling mood, an auction is great fun, and will make winning prizes even more exciting.
A well-run casino night will be one of the most fun office parties you will ever attend. With the right preparation, you and your coworkers will really feel like you've been transported to Las Vegas, without the nasty jet lag. Good luck and have fun!

Highest Rated Casino Party

A New York Casino Party can be a wonderful experience if everything is performed correctly. A sociable, talented and interactive staff, high-quality equipment and the perfect selection of food and music are the main characteristics for a successful party. What makes a New York Casino Party so alluring is the fact that gambling in the city is not allowed for the most part (although some exceptions do exist). Thus, New Yorkers can get a much needed break from the more traditional forms of entertainment, such as bars, clubs, musicals and restaurants, that are so easily accessible.
New Yorkers know how they want to be treated. Top restaurants achieve success by providing not only a wonderful product (food) but also top of the line service to answer every call for its customers. The same treatment is expected at most major events and parties, especially fundraisers and corporate events. Many party planners think that they can just roll in a few slot machines, serve up some food and hire any old DJ to entertain a crowd. However, a New York casino party planner knows better.
Find a casino party in New York that has garnered great reviews from its clients. They will most likely have the most dedicated staff in the business that knows how to take New Yorkers out of the daily grind and give them a surreal and extremely memorable experience.

Anatomy of a Successful Casino Party

Anatomy of a Successful Casino Party
Everyone loves to have a good time and there is none better than a casino party. But throwing a successful casino party is more than just hiring some tables and dealers. A reputable casino party hosting company will help guide you through all of the considerations. Here are some guidelines to help you scale and plan the event one your own so that a disreputable casino hosting company doesn't try to over-sell you on things that will detract from the experience.
Head Count
You should have a fairly accurate idea of the number of guests that will be attending before deciding on the number of tables and games. Sure, not everyone plays but that is mostly because they wont admit that they don't know how. Make sure that the casino hosting company you hire is capable of teaching the games to new players. You may even want to dedicate the first half hour to teaching new players. With that being said, you will want to make sure that the are enough tables to accommodate all of your guests. A poker table will hold 9 to 10 players. Black Jack will hold 6 to 7 players. Craps and Roulette will vary depending upon the size of the table. The bottom line is to be sure to ask because not all tables are designed the same. The worst thing that could happen is that you have players standing around because all of the tables are full.
Have a Room with Room
Most casino parties inside of a typical single family home can handle up to four tables and 35 to 40 players. Anything larger than that and you will want to consider hiring out the neighborhood clubhouse or a reception hall. Even if you think you can squeeze in another table here or there, just remember that you don't want to 'box in' your guests. People should be able to flow freely between the gaming tables, the food and drinks, and most  restroom! If the weather is good, some of the games can be located outside to make more room. Card games are not usually the best candidates because a random gust of wind can send the cards flying down the street. Craps and Roulette are good candidates for an outdoor setup if you need the extra room.
Something is Better than Nothing
Even though you are playing for fun and not money, you can still make things interesting and exciting for you guests by offering prizes at the end of the event to the winners. For a small casino party in the home, this can be something as simple as a trophy that commemorates the event. For a larger casino party like a corporate event or a fundraising event, larger and multiple prizes are more appropriate. One of the best systems for awarding prizes at the end of a casino party is to have a table displaying all of the prizes with fish bowls in front of them. When the players cash out their chips at the end of the event, they are given a number of raffle tickets (supplied complimentary by a quality casino hosting company) that correspond to their chip count. Then the players can distribute their raffle tickets into the fish bowls of the prizes that they are most interested in winning. Even though the gaming chips have no monetary value, playing to potentially win something at the end will always make the gaming more fun and exciting for your guests.
Timing is Everything
A typical casino party event is contracted for 4 hours which includes 1 hour of setup and teardown. This means that you will get 3 hours of actual playing time. If you plan on serving your guests dinner on the front end, then be sure to factor that in to make sure it doesn't cut into your playing time. If guests are scheduled to arrive at 7pm, then plan on opening the casino at 8pm or 8:30pm otherwise the tables will be empty and the dealers will be standing around waiting for player for the first hour or so while people eat dinner. Also, make sure in advance that you can extend the event if necessary and know what the cost will be in advance.
It's the Little Things that Matter the Most
Here are a few additional details that will make or break you casino party.

Drinks. Everybody loves them and will have them at the gaming tables. Most gaming tables will have cup holders or rails for player to rest their drinks in. Make sure that the glasses or cups you will be using to serve drinks will work with the cup holders built into the tables. Stemware is not usually a good idea for this application.

Chips. Make sure that your players are starting off with the same amount of chips to keep things fair. This can be a simple token or ticket that is given to your guest when they enter and they present to the dealer when they are ready to play. Also, consider what you want to do if a player runs out of chips before the end of the event. How will you keep them in the game without making it unfair to the players that are winning?

Cashing In. Allow about 15 minutes at the end of the event for players to cash in their chips in exchange for raffle tickets or other means of determining the ultimate winner. Playing right up to the last minute could potentially place you into an overtime situation that could cost you more than expected.

Fun Casino Hire - Guide to a Professional Casino Night

Fun Casino Hire - Guide to a Professional Casino Night
Planning your own event means the freedom to choose whatever form of entertainment you want. Among the many types of parties you can host, the casino party is one theme that adds an extra Bling to an occasion, be it a wedding reception, birthday party, charity event or holiday celebrations.
Casino games are very popular all over the world. To organize and set up games for your party, you will have to appoint a fun party organizer. A Fun Casino Hire company offers many gambling packages and provides professional gaming features that make your play experience fun filled and unique.
Choosing a Service
Availability of funds is the major requirement for casino hire, and decides the quality of your party. If you are on limited budget, you should choose budget casino tables that are smaller, lighter and less professional. Few companies provide cheaper alternatives however, preferring to go with full-sized professional casino tables.
Depending on the theme of your party, many Fun Casino Hire companies will offer gambling themes packages. Typically, croupiers will dress in characters and there will be more props used for the party to complement its theme.
Quality companies offer many games to choose from, including popular games like roulette, blackjack, backgammon, keno, poker, and slot machines. These companies will provide an interactive gambling experience by setting up full-size professional casino tables. Besides sealing the authenticity of games, they will also provide advice on how games should be played.
Depending on your budget, you can usually choose the number of tables you want to set up. Appointing employees from the company to operate the casino equipment may cost you extra.
While options are many if you have a lavish budget to spare, there are a decent number of cost-effective services available for limited budget holders. There are a few organizations that rent casino equipment at cheap prices for private parties, whether big or small.
In the United States, there are many Fun Casino Hire services offering reasonably priced party rental packages with Las Vegas style games and set ups. From elaborate, fancy to classic, and mute, a number of designs and themes are available on games. In addition, casino rentals are available throughout the world, in places, which enjoy a thriving casino culture such as the United Kingdom and many other parts of Europe, and Australia.
Games are great additions to any party. Not only can you use it to raise money for charity purposes, but also they offer your guests a lovely time. Casino parties are a huge success because they let people indulge in wagering fantasies without fear of going bankrupt. If you are planning to hold a party for an upcoming occasion, chances are it will be a huge success with your guests. Look for a quality company to ensure this happens.

OK, Just How DO You Play Craps, Anyway? - Part One

OK, Just How DO You Play Craps, Anyway? - Part One
If I had to guess what the number one question that's asked of our Los Angeles casino night team (besides 'where's the bar?'), it's "Craps?  do you PLAY this game?" And, usually, my response goes something like, "That's asking 'how do you fly the Space Shuttle,'" but, when you think about it, flying the shuttle might just look easier to the uninitiated when it comes to what has to be the most imposing game on the casino floor.
But, fear not, my friends: There's good news! The chips are valueless, and the dice don't know the game is fake! Translation: IMHO, the best way to learn the game of Craps is at one of the many Vegas-Casino-night Craps tables in your area. Yep, free lessons, and, should you die a horrible death in the hour that it takes to teach you how to play, you can look inside your wallet/purse and say to yourself, "Wow. Haven't lost a dime."
Ahh, yes, it's good to be us. Being the best Los Angeles casino night party company DOES have its advantages......
So, since the question has been   ASKED, we thought to ourselves, "what better way to teach the game than explain some of the nuances in our blog? (Yeah, we talk to ourselves a lot. Too many crazy casino parties.)
PART ONE - GETTING STARTED
Yes, we'll skip over the history of the game. In prior blogs, we've already explained that our history grades in school weren't the best, so we start off in our wheelhouse: the game itself. Ever heard the term, "Seven-come-eleven?" Craps is the game that witty lil' phrase came from, because on the very first roll of a sequence (called the 'Come-Out-Roll'), if you throw a 7-or-11, you win your first bet, which, as WE teach the game, is the "Pass Line" bet.
OK, I know, I know, I'm already hitting you with these names, titles and phrases. No worries, as Scott "P" would say. You'll get the game, eventually, for one simple reason: This game is just like my mother-in-law. Repetitive. The game constantly repeats, so, if you give this game (in a live setting at one of our events) just one hour, we'll teach you ALL you need to know. But, first, as Tony Soprano would say, "Ya gotta learn the lingo."
First roll of a series of rolls? Come out roll.
Pass Line Bet? First bet to place on the table.
Here...Picture yourself standing right in front of a Craps table in Las Vegas. (Or, better yet, get a picture of the Craps layout, and check it out.) Remember, the ends of the table are mirror images of each other. Stand on either end, you'll get the same game... See the pass line at the bottom? That's where you'll place your chip(s) for your initial bet, right in that skinny lil' area, right in front of where you're standing at the table.
Now, on the very first roll of a sequence, yes, the come out roll, 7-or-11 is an automatic winner, and 2, 3, or 12 is an automatic loser. (2-3-12, that's Craps, baby.) But, if any other number comes up, you'll see the dealer mark that particular number, and, until the end of the roll, you'll need the shooter (the one rolling the dice) to throw THAT number before a seven, to win your pass line bet. Let's say for example, he threw a six. OK, that's your number.
Yeah, I know, it's starting to go over your head. Remember, my mother-in-law. You'll get it, it keeps repeating.
Now, when it comes to the pass line bet you made initially, the only two numbers that matter to your bet are SIX (which would be a pass line winner), or SEVEN (which would be a pass line loser). Yep, once you "create a point" (throw some marked number, like six, on the come out roll), seven turns into your enemy. But, you KNOW how dice can be,  if the shooter doesn't throw a six OR a seven for a VERY long time?
Good question, my friends. And that's where we'll move to part TWO of, "How the heck do you PLAY this game?" We'll post Part Two in a few days... In the meantime, we've assigned you some homework: Go online, and search for one of the many free craps trainers online. Casino Theme Party Ideas

Casino Theme Party Ideas
Are you planning on throwing a party for your friends? If so, consider throwing a trendy Casino party. Follow these simple guidelines to pull off the perfect Casino party:
Invitations:
Set the theme for your celebration with the invitations. There are a number of ways to do this. First, consider including casino chips within each invitation, and allow guests to turn these in for door prize drawings or even specialty drinks. Or, you may wish to send invitations that are in the shape of playing cards. If you choose this second option, consider including a playing card that serves as each guest's ticket for entry into the party.
Decorations:
There are many decorative ideas for a casino party, whether you want guests to feel as though they've been transported to Las Vegas or Atlantic City or if you'd like them to feel they're in your own private casino. First, remember that any games you have can add to the room decorations, so roulette and poker tables themselves can serve as decorations. Also, many websites and party stores offer giant dice, which can be placed throughout the room, hung from the ceiling, or can even serve as benches for guests. You may also purchase large playing cards and put them on the walls and in the entryway. Consider offering a photo corner where guests can take pictures of themselves among these decorations.
Food:
Finger foods, particularly sushi and cocktail shrimp, are extremely popular casino foods. You can also purchase skewers with card suits (diamonds, spades, hearts, and clubs) on them. Then create grilled meat and veggie skewers for guests. On your dessert table, have round cakes decorated like game tables, and include cookies decorated like money or playing chips. You may also choose to have cookies shaped like diamonds or spades, with the date of the party written on them in icing.
Favors:
Send your guests home with a favor to commemorate your party. Some popular ideas include photo key chains (particularly if you set up a photo corner as recommended above), club shaped soaps, or even individually wrapped cookies like you provided on your dessert table. For a particularly unique gift that ties in perfectly with the casino theme, give guests each a deck of personalized playing cards with the date of the event inscribed on the case. Every time they use them in their homes, they'll remember the wonderful time they had at your party.

How To Make Sports Betting Easy

Most people who bet on sports lose money. Because of that, they come to believe there must be some secret betting system required to win. If only they could find that system they would never lose again.
Those who win know that you can't be overly complicated about betting. If you do, at the very least you will have no fun. And you will probably lose money too.
Winners will pick their games and place their bets with very little fuss. They do it the same way every time. First take a look at the games available. Find the games that meet their systems requirements. Place the bets. It's that simple.
Some systems are chart based. They are the easiest of all. Pick the point spreads that are on the charts and place your bets. Those systems take very little time and effort, and the better ones will work quite well.
Other systems can take advantage of money line odds to decrease the number of games you need to win. Especially in the toughest sport of all, Baseball. A smart bettor with a good system can profit winning one out of three games without significant risk.
You can build your own systems to use, or buy one from somebody else. But once you have a system that works sports betting can be very easy, and at the same time very profitable.
However you go about getting a system, after that it is all in consistently using it for profits. How will you know if the system works? You will bet it all year and see what happens. You don't have to use real money, but it's a lot more fun.
An easy to use system is how to sports betting easy. Besides, you can't win without one.

Sports Betting Made Easy Overview

Sports Betting Made Easy is a new sports betting system recently introduced. It comes as several PDF files and is downloaded instantly after purchase.
There is short main book that gives general sports betting advice. Quite good advice, I might add. But the real meat is in the systems, which include the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball.
The NFL betting system is a chart based point spread system that claims to win about 60% of the time. Having reviewed the results of the 2010 season through the 11th week, it has done exactly that. Who knows what tomorrow holds, but thus far this season it has met the claims.
The NBA system has charts like the NFL system, but I have not looked at the records. I can only assume it works as well as the football system and it claims no different. There is also a money line betting system designed to pick underdogs in good situations and profit with a single win in three games without significant risk. You always end up betting on a team in a winning situation when playing a team in a losing situation. Ingenious, but I have not tested the system and games may not be as easy to find as with the chart based system. But since you get them both, there will be plenty of games to bet in the NBA.
The Major League Baseball system is based on a similar betting strategy as the NBA system, using the money line. Your bets are on home team underdogs and you win so long as they don't get swept. Again, I have not fully tested this system but can't figure out how I could lose with it.
All in all, Sports Betting Made Easy is one of the most complete systems I have seen available at any price. It doesn't rely on risky betting practices or make any outrageous claims, thus is able to deliver on what it promises.

So Did You Win That Football Pool Yet?

So how did the football pool work out for you at work?
Have you won it yet?
Disappointed that you lost it again?
What are the odds of you even winning it?
121 - 1?
Well, at least the odds are better than winning the lottery or even Publishers Clearing House.
Are you tired of losing your bets?
You do know there are systems that the professional sports betters use that put the odds tremendously in your favor for sports wagering.
They aren't fool proof of course because no one wins 100% of the time.
These types of strategies however can increase your odds of winning greatly.
Baseball, Football and Basketball are three of the National pastimes in the U.S. and sports betting is a part of each game, each season nationwide and abroad.
Your one and only downfall would be if you were to get greedy and/or cocky even if you were using an established and proven system.
Ego is a fine thing if applied in moderation.
Responsible Gambling is a must!
You never bet more than you can afford to lose because lose you will eventually.
You want to make sure you have enough left in your bankroll to not only pay the bills but to be able to place another bet to make up for your losses.
Going all in can easily do much more harm than good, especially if it leaves you busted to the point the household bills don't get paid.
See you in the winners circle.

Online Sports Books and Sports Betting

There are not many things that are more exhilarating than the first big win you get when betting sports online. It is a thrill that eclipses that of many different types of gambling, even offline sports betting. There is nothing, short of an actual win at a casino's sports book that can compare with the experience.
This is not to say that there are not other thrills to be had in other areas of gambling. There definitely are. The first foray into table games is a wild ride. It is a mixture of fear, excitement, and adrenaline that rushes over you like a wave. Nevertheless, in the end, table games simply cannot compare.
The main reasoning behind this argument is this: Sports betting online mixes two great pastimes into one, pulling from the best of both. The thrill of gaming itself is mixed with the excitement of being a sport spectator and creates an experience that greatly surpasses either of the individual parts.
There's no way to compare typical sports betting with a bookie and online sports betting, because they are two different animals. First, online betting is a legal approach, while calling your bookie is not. With your bookie, you do not know where he or she is getting the line. You certainly cannot use him to research the teams. In addition, and most importantly, you will be limited to betting only certain contests that the bookie offers. This just does not compare.
Sports betting has the power to bring you passion for sport that you probably forgot you had. It can take you back to the days of your youth when every athlete was an idol and a god, and who could do no wrong. Back to the days when you lived and died by your favorite team.
To find this out for yourself, pick a sport that you do not necessarily watch. Go to your favorite online sportsbook site and pick a team for that sport. Do some research on their schedule, look at their record, and read up on the players. Now, pull the trigger and bet their next game. All of the sudden, a team you did not pay much attention to, playing a sport you don't normally watch becomes a group that you are actually pulling for with all of your heart. Who cannot appreciate that kind of excitement?
If you are looking for a way to increase your enjoyment of watching a game, there is nothing like sports betting online. Try it today and never look back.

Winning Money Betting On Sports Is Easy

I often wonder why the vast majority of those people who bet on sports lose. Then I realize it is because they just don't understand how it works and why sports betting actually allows for winners. That is true for both beginners and long time bettors. If you want to win, you must first know why it is possible to win betting on sports. Once you know why you can win doing it is easy.
The reason you can win betting on sports is that the books don't control the probabilities of the outcome in sporting events. Think about that for a minute. If you ask a casino how much they will make off of Blackjack for each million dollars wagered, they can tell you to the dollar. The probabilities are set by the rules, and they never change. But with sports, they have no such control.
Instead, they charge you a vig, which puts them at a 2.4% monetary advantage. Then they use point spreads and the like to gain as much control over the outcome as possible. And they have to cover every game. On some game the spread evens the odds out, but on others there is an advantage for those who can find it.
Winning money betting on sports is easy. Only bet on games where you have the best probabilities of winning. Using point spreads it is possible to exceed a 60% win rate just off past performance of the spread number. If you only bet on situations that have in excess of a 53% probability in your favor, you will win money from the books the same way the casinos win their money.

The Real Secret Behind the Sports Betting Professor

Did you know that in the world of sports betting, statistics rule? Of course you did because that is how all gambling is set up. You must have a certain percentage of wins in order to pull ahead. In sports betting that percentage is 52.7%. If you do not hit that goal then you have lost. That may not seem like much of a win ratio but it is an important figure you must know. The Sports Betting Professor eBook teaches you about how to hit that win percentage in order to line your pocketbook with money.
The Sports Betting Professor claims that he hits 90% of his bets. That is pretty impressive. Let's say that he places 100 bets on MLB, NFL and NBA games. In order for him to back up his own claim he has to win 90 of those bets and he can win them in a variety of ways. That is the key to knowing how to bet on sports and it is the technique he teaches people who buy his ebook.
Rich Allen definitely knows how to sell his ebook. He posts his winnings on the website and you can see that he, or at least someone, is definitely raking in some cash through betting on sports. The only downside to the website, flashy and attractive as it may be, is that there are not enough customer testimonials. There are few video testimonials from everyday looking Joes who claim this book changed their lives and made them the rich men they are today. You would think with that much winnings they would look a bit more dressed up but it may be the look that works for them.
The real issue is whether or not this eBook will work for you. Rich Allen is definitely against sports writers and claims that their picks only yield results part of the time. He even calls ESPN's Bill Simmons out on the proverbial carpet for having a losing streak picking games. And Bill Simmons is a knowledgeable man when it comes to sports. So Allen contends that his system will definitely work.
The one thing you have to keep in mind when buying The Sports Betting Professor, or any sports betting ebook, is that it really is gambling. You are going to lose and sometimes you are going to lose big. If you can stick with it and learn a system that works for you, then your winning average and percentage will eventually go up. That is the real secret.

Bad Habits - You Can Change the Outcome

It has been said winning is contagious. The same thing can be said about losing. Doing the same thing over and over becomes a habit. Breaking that habit can be hard to do. It take determination and a desire to change. It takes a willingness to do things different even when it just doesn't feel right.
When it comes to the world of sports wagering, changing old habits can be as difficult as than any other area of life. The glutton can eat smaller portions. The alcoholic can stop drinking and go to meetings. A losing bettor has to change his mindset, He has to change his perception. He has to find another betting system.
Finding another system may seem easy. There a hundreds, if not thousands, of systems claiming to be the best. They guarantee to give you the best 5 or 10 bets for the week. For most, this may be fine,]. But for the sports investor, the best bets may not be the most profitable. The sports investor is looking for long term gains and stability. This means not just looking at today but also the days to come. Sports investing is not gambling, per se. It is more like financial planning. Sports investing is as simple as having system with guidelines and parameters.
The best sports betting systems have several things in common. First and foremost, does it have a proven track record? The newest usually is not the best. Next, does the gambling community view it as a successful entity? Sports gamblers know who is real and they will share information readily. Third, does this betting system have an escape clause? Can you get your money back? Some systems will have just what you need.
If you can answer yes to all of these questions, it's time to climb aboard your new sports betting system. Have fun with your new money source.
